Single-Document Academic Editing & Proofreading

Single-Document Academic Editing & Proofreading

$295.00

This service is designed for one complete academic document—such as a thesis chapter, dissertation section, article draft, or similar scholarly work. Best for documents up to ~10,000 words.

Please submit one form per document/chapter, or contact me to discuss a custom quote for longer manuscripts. Typical pricing tiers are as followed:

  • Up to 5,000 words – $175

  • 5,001–10,000 words – $295

  • 10,001–20,000 words – $475

  • 20,000+ words – Custom quote

You submit one document, which will be carefully edited for clarity, flow, grammar, and academic style. I return the document with tracked revisions, margin comments where helpful, and a brief style sheet summarizing editorial decisions and recurring conventions used throughout your text.

This is a one-round, one-document service, ideal for writers who want focused, professional feedback and a polished manuscript without an extended revision cycle.

How It Works

  1. You submit one document (Word or Google Docs, no PDFS)

  2. I complete a full editorial pass

  3. You receive:

    • The edited document with tracked changes

    • Editorial comments (as needed)

    • A concise style sheet for consistency going forward

Additional documents or revision rounds may be booked separately.
